In 2011 she graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics. During her studies she worked on child health and nutrition, sports nutrition, obesity treatment and weight management.
After her diagnosis of type 1 diabetes, she has worked to improve the quality of life of people with diabetes — especially children — and to support them through nutritional therapy. Her own experience has helped her clients see diabetes not only as a disease, but as a way of living. After graduation she continued institutional and clinical work at Ankara Private 100. Yıl Hospital between 2011 and 2014. During this period she also provided nutrition and diet counselling at Vamos Sport Complex. In August 2014 she founded her nutrition education and diet counselling centre under the Özgediyet brand.
Over time the clinical team has grown, and services continue in Ankara and in many cities around the world through online support. After completing training in functional medicine, she has achieved successful results in treating illness from a holistic medical perspective. As a person with type 1 diabetes, she plans care with a clear understanding of how important it is to protect and improve quality of life in autoimmune and chronic conditions. Being able to support both prevention and the management of existing illness is a great honour for her and her team.
